By accessing this Site or using any part of the Site or any content or services (as each is defined below) on the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to all these Terms of Use, then you may not access the site or use the content or any services in the Site. By accessing or continuing to access this Site, you expressly assent to all of these Terms of Use.

2. MODIFICATIONS OF TERMS OF USE

We may modify these Terms of Use at any time at our sole discretion and such modification shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified Terms of Use on this Site. You agree to review the Terms of Use periodically to be aware of such modifications and your continued access to or use of the Site shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified Terms of Use.

Subject to full compliance with the Terms of Use, AbsolutelyParents may offer to provide certain services and content, as described more fully on the Site. “Services” shall include, but not be limited to, any service and content AbsolutelyParents performs for you, as well as the offering of any materials displayed or performed on the Site (including, but not limited to hyper-links, text, user comments, votes, ratings, messages, information, data, graphics, news articles, photographs, images, illustrations, software, audio clips and video clips, also known as the "Insight” or “HIDI” (in short for “How I did it”) or “Q&A” or “Resources” or ”Content" as the context requires) on the Site. AbsolutelyParents may change, suspend or discontinue the Services including any Content for any reason, at any time, including the availability of any feature or Content. AbsolutelyParents may also impose limits on certain features and Services or restrict your access to parts or all of the Services without notice or liability.

4. YOUR REGISTRATION OBLIGATIONS

As a condition to using Services, you are required to register with AbsolutelyParents and select a password and screen name (“User name”). You shall provide AbsolutelyParents with accurate, complete, and updated registration information. Failure to do so shall constitute a breach of the Terms of Use, which may result in immediate termination of your AbsolutelyParents account. You may not (i) select or use as a User name a name of another person with the intent to impersonate that person; (ii) use as a User name a name subject to any rights of a person other than you without appropriate authorization; or (iii) use as User name a name that is otherwise offensive, vulgar or obscene. AbsolutelyParents reserves the right to refuse registration of or cancel a User name in its discretion. You shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your AbsolutelyParents password.

Services are available only to individuals who are at least 21 years old, whether acting on their own behalf or as an authorized employee or representative of a corporation or other business entity. If you do not so qualify, do not attempt to register for or use the Services.

We can also suspend or terminate use of the Services by anyone who does not follow these Terms of Use.

5. USER CONDUCT

As a condition of use, you promise not to use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use, or Community Guidelines or Submission Guidelines of AbsolutelyParents.

By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree not to use the Services:

1. To abuse, harass, threaten or intimidate other AbsolutelyParents users or to impersonate anyone;
2. To contribute any Content that is infringing, libellous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, racially or religiously offensive or otherwise violates any law or right of any third party;
3. For any illegal or unauthorized purpose. If you are an international user, you agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content;
4. To post or transmit, or cause to be posted or transmitted, any communication or solicitation designed or intended to obtain password, account, or private information from any AbsolutelyParents user;
5. To create or submit unsolicited email ("Spam") to any other AbsolutelyParents users;
6. To violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws);
7. To submit insights or comments or questions or answers promoting affiliate programs, multi-level marketing schemes, sites or blogs repurposing existing insights;
8. With the exception of search engines or for accessing RSS feeds, you will not use any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access the Site for any purpose without our express written permission. Additionally, you agree that you will not:
1. Take any action that imposes, or may impose in our sole discretion an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure;
2. Interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site or any activities conducted on the Site; or
3. Bypass any measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Site;
9. To create separate user accounts with the intention of artificially inflating or altering the ‘smile count’ (votes), comments, or any other AbsolutelyParents service, including by way of creating separate user accounts for the purpose of artificially altering AbsolutelyParents services.

AbsolutelyParents may remove any Content and accounts at any time, without giving any notice, for any reason (including, but not limited to, upon receipt of claims or allegations from third parties or authorities relating to such Content), or for no reason at all. 6. CONTENT SUBMITTED OR MADE AVAILABLE FOR INCLUSION ON THE SERVICE

The AbsolutelyParents site is dedicated to allowing parents to provide insights by writing an article, or posting a link or both on a new or a given topic, or to respond to such topics.

By uploading, submitting or otherwise disclosing or distributing Content of any kind at or on the Site or otherwise through the Services, unless source quoted, you represent and warrant that you own all rights in the Content and you agree that the Content will be subject to the

1. Creative Commons Public Domain License available at http://creativecommons.org/licenses/publicdomain/ or
2. Any of the other six Creative Common Licenses available at http://creativecommons.org/licenses/ you submit your Content with.

AbsolutelyParents provides members with free web space for their parenting insights on the Site. Free web space, as defined by AbsolutelyParents, is comprised of hypertext mark-up language (html) and associated files, intended solely for the visual presentation of PARENTING RELATED CONTENT on the members' Content pages. The spirit of free web space is specifically not intended as a storage facility for members' personal digital files. Using it as such is a violation of the Terms of Use. Also please note that pictures are only saved for the purposes of display on AbsolutelyParents, not for storage or other purposes. Members cannot assume that AbsolutelyParents will preserve the quality or resolution of any picture uploaded to AbsolutelyParents.

Your access to or use of the Site, as well as these Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Singapore laws and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

These Terms of Use are for the benefit of AbsolutelyParents and its directors, officers, employees, panel of experts (qualified professionals in parenting and child-development), content partners (organizations contributing content in parenting and child development matters), suppliers, licensors, agents, and any third party content providers to the Site. Each of these individuals or entities shall have the right to assert and enforce those provisions directly against you on his own behalf.
